Meet the Owner

Meg Hetherington grew up in California.  In 2010, Meg and her family relocated to Wylie, TX. She spent 18 years teaching preschool and elementary school.  She is so excited to be baking full time now!!!

​Meg found her passion for baking at a young age helping her mom and grandma in the kitchen.  When her own kids were born, she wanted to create the best birthday cakes and sweets for them.  Sugar is her love language!  In 2019 she started Get Baked Wylie!!!  When she's not in her kitchen baking, you will find Meg cheering on her daughter at her drill team events, or at the pool watching her son race!​
